Preparing for Life after High School

Don't wait until your senior year to begin planning for college and a career. Take steps now for a brighter future!

Take steps now for a brighter future

Think back to when you were in elementary and middle school. What were your career dreams then? Firefighter? Doctor? Teacher? Have you thought about what you want to study in college in order to prepare for your future career dreams?

Where do I turn?

Perhaps, right now, you have no idea which direction you should take in your college studies or which career path would best suit your interests and abilities. Whether you know the next step in your journey or not, now is the time to begin exploring who God has created you to be and how He wants to bless others through your life and career.

Most importantly throughout your journey, keep your eyes focused on God, because it is He who unconditionally loves and created you in order to do good works. As it says in Ephesians 2:10: “You are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that you would walk in them. “

Team for the Dream

TEAM= Together Everyone Achieves More. When people connect and work towards their goals together, rather than alone, preparing for life after high school becomes more enjoyable and productive. In order to help you establish goals during high school connect with:

  • your parents
  • your school counselor
  • your teachers and coaches
  • your pastors and respected adults
  • professionals who work in area(s) of interest
  • college representatives at college fairs
