“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral” —Hebrews 13:4.

A close friend recently quit her Facebook page because she kept checking up on her old boyfriend. She knew that was only creating a slice of friction between her husband and herself. I applaud her choice to stay pure. Not only in a physical way, but an emotional way as well.

The marriage bed should be kept pure—by creating an arena that is filled with conversations of hope for the future, goals for tomorrow, and adoration for each other. God then grows physical intimacy within these deep relationships between a husband and a wife.

Pray for your spouse to run from temptation. Pray that boundaries will be well marked and that sharing can come from the marriage relationship in order to grow closer every day. Pray that God will give a desire for true intimacy to both you and your spouse so that you may glorify Him in your relationship.
