My husband was trying to lose weight and quickly realized it would require good planning!
Every day JJ had to make sure he had healthy snacks to eat between meals. It reminded me that we needed to plan for healthy spiritual snacks from God’s word to help us lose the weight of self-doubt. Here is a couple from my book A Confident Heart, that I call “Food for Thought:"
When I Say: My life is too hard. God Says: I want to help you.
When I Say: I can’t do this! God Says: Rely on My strength, and you can do all I’ve asked you to do.
Having these on hand gives us access to God’s promises so we can lose the weight of self-doubt by replacing discouraging thoughts with God’s empowering truths.
