We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world. John 4:42
There are times when we open our photo albums of Jesus Christ to view the pictures we have of his life. We might have a few pictures placed strategically in the album that give us a brief glance at who Jesus is – a picture of his birth that first Christmas; maybe a snapshot of him teaching or healing; another of him dying on the cross; and a picture of his resurrection. But those four or five pictures about cover our knowledge of who Jesus is.
But is that it? Are we called to believe in a Savior we know very little about? The answer is no.
Christ wants us to know him fully and personally. We can’t just look at a few snapshots of his life and pretend to know who he is or what he has done for us. To truly know him, we must look into every aspect of his life. We have to get to know him on an intimate level.
As you look to what Jesus Christ has done for you through his death and resurrection, take the time to get to know him. Turn to him and ask him to teach you about his life and his passion. Take the time to see all the snapshots of your Savior.
