Peace with God

Description

Sometimes, it is hard to trust God during our circumstances but we should…He is so faithful! Begin to pray that you will be able to SEE God during the dark times.

Genesis 50: 19

But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid…You intended to harm me, but God intended if for good …”

God is a God of peace, even during uncertain times and circumstances. Sometimes in life, we can begin to feel that God has fallen asleep on the job- that He is not aware nor does He care what is happening in our lives. That way of thinking is entirely untrue. God does care! He cares intensely for each of us.   Through the hard times, God is there. He has not forgotten about us and what is meant to harm us or destroy us, God will use for good. We must trust in Him.

Sometimes, it is hard to trust God during our circumstances but we should…He is so faithful!  Begin to pray that you will be able to SEE God during the dark times.  Ask God to show Himself to you, even when you cannot see Him. God is a loving Father, who wants you to trust Him. He is always working on your behalf, because you are His child. Think about how much you parent out of love for your children, always desiring the best for them, yet your children don’t understand why or feel that it is unfair. It is the same with God…yet He has a distinct advantage…He knows the future of what is to come in our lives and He intends it for good.

Prayer

Father, Give me child like faith. Help me to always see Your love for me and to not doubt You. I can doubt my circumstances and wish they were different, but I pray I will not doubt Your love for me or Your faithfulness. God, if I do doubt, draw me back into Your loving arms. Wrap Your arms around me, when my days are dark, and whisper in my ear that You love me and You will carry me through the hard times. Thank You!
