Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously (2 Corinthians 9:6).

THINK

One of the most important aspects of Christianity is an accurate understanding of generosity. Throughout the Bible, God calls His followers to be generous. In fact, giving is at the very heart of God. Being made in His likeness, generosity is in our very nature as well.

As Christ followers, we are called to carry that generosity through every area of our lives, including our investment in the local church. When we are obedient and begin to sow our resources generously into the local church, we become more than consumers; we become partners with the life change that God does.
