Our Ultimate Freedom in Christ

Description

The greatest freedom any of us can ever experience is eternal security and peace through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17

THINK

This week, Americans  celebrate freedom as a nation. It’s a week when we reflect on the gift of freedom, and we remember that it is not something to take lightly. Yet, as great as the freedom of our country is, the reality is that the ultimate freedom is found on another level.

It’s great to be proud to be an American. There’s value in holding high the freedoms and experiences we have here. But the greatest freedom any of us can ever experience is eternal security and peace through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Have you experienced the ultimate freedom? Have you shared the reality of that freedom with those around you?

PRAY

Thank God for providing a way to ultimate freedom through His Son, Jesus Christ. Ask Him to give you opportunities to talk about that freedom with those around you.

ACT

This week, write out a thank you note to God, whether it’s on a napkin, in a journal, or on a scrap piece of paper. Carry that with you this week as a reminder of what He has done for you.
