Opening the Bible

Description

The Bible was written by men who were inspired by God, and it can be relied upon to give you guidance for life here on earth. Over the next five days, challenge yourself to read the book of Luke.

Complete the following action item over the course of this week.

While working through faith, one thing you’ll be doing is getting a taste of the Bible—God’s Word for us. Written by men who were inspired by God, it can be relied upon to give us guidance for life here on earth. A great place to start is the book of Luke. Written not long after the events within, it tells the Gospel (good news) story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

If possible, it would be valuable to read the entire book of Luke over the next five days. You can do that by reading four chapters per day. But if you’re not able to carve out time to read chapters 1-4 today, and focus on Luke 2, the story of Jesus’ birth.
