Lead Like Jesus reminds us of the obstacles of pride and fear, and of embracing worldly perspectives.

What keeps us from following where God leads, from serving as Jesus serves? Lead Like Jesus reminds us of the obstacles of pride and fear, embracing worldly perspectives instead of God's principles, incorrectly assessing and offering the type of leadership others need, and abandoning spiritual disciplines that keep us in step with Jesus. What steps do you need to take today so that you are able to lead like Jesus?

It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it (3 John 1:3).

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for modeling the way to overcome obstacles to being servant leaders. Transform my heart, head, hands, and habits so that nothing gets in the way of my loving and leading people like You do. May I faithfully draw close to You as I walk in Your way. In Your name I pray, amen.
