New Best Friends

Youth volunteer Kristie Seal plays with kids she met near Tuscaloosa, Ala., while providing relief in a community affected by a severe tornado.

Students received backpacks filled with school supplies, shoes, toys, games, and books. Parents received hygiene kits and household goods. And in return volunteers received smiles and a heartfelt “thanks.”

After a tornado devastated a rural Alabama community, caring people donated, distributed, and provided support for their neighbors in need. World Vision’s domestic disaster response staff helped bring them together.
