Never Give Up!

Description

We must continue to live out our new life in Christ. Don't go back to the old lifestyle and the old way. Don't give up!

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Whatever you do—don't quit. Because WINNERS never quit and quitters never WIN. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are placed in the “Winners Circle.”  Our job is to live right and stand on the promises of God's Word. We must continue to live out our new life in Christ. Don't go back to the old lifestyle and the old way. Don't give up!

The scripture says in Matthew 10:22 that “...he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”  There is no prize for a quitter. It is imperative for you to maintain this quality of endurance in the center of your mind and spirit. You must be totally committed to Jesus and not be detoured by any outside influence.

If you give up, you will forfeit the next stage of power and anointing that God has on your horizon. Understand, however, that as you take on the mantle of challenge, there will be a voice inside of you  that will say, “you ought to just give up—this isn't worth all this trouble.” Don't listen to that voice. You must press on! You must endure! II Timothy 2:3 says, “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

There will be times when the journey will not be easy—but keep going. You will be presented with great challenges—but keep going. It is in the midst of your challenge that God develops your character.

If God is still developing you, that means that you still have a destiny to fulfill. So since God didn't give up on you—don't you give up on God.

I am sure it was not easy for our Lord Jesus Christ to endure the trials of the cross. The night before that challenging day, he reflected on the many things that He would go through. He stated in prayer (Luke 22:42), “...Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

I believe that God was giving us an example of endurance. Paul and Silas were put in prison but still praised the Lord, even in the midst of their “midnight” trial. (Acts 16:25) When God delivered them from the prison, instead of giving up, they went right back and did what God told them to do—they continued preaching the gospel —the very thing that caused them to go to prison in the first place.

You must NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give up. What God has in store for you is not based upon what you can see. Even when you don't see any hope of your dreams coming to pass, or any hope of breaking free of the situation you are in-keep on waling with the Lord. Do't seek things, seek God. The scripture says, “...seek ye first the kingdom of God; and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

Don't give up. There is always another day beyond your present midnight. Don't faint in the night. Don't throw in the towel. Keep on walking, keep on believing, keep on trusting God. He will work it out!

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Your trust in God will carry you through. Don't quit!
