Neighbors Work Together

Description

Neema Peter and Neseriani Edward dig a water pan to catch rain water for their vegetable gardens in arid Tanzania.

“I want the water pan to be deep so it can collect a lot of water,” says Neema. Through a World Vision program, she and 50 other villagers went to Kenya to learn new agriculture practices.

"When I went to Yatta (Kenya), I learned about farming, especially about growing vegetables," she says. Neema  plans to grow cabbage, kale, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes.  She has shared her knowledge, tools, and enthusiasm with her neighbors.

Mark 12:23 -  “…to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings”

Do you make loving your neighbor a priority?
