Motivated Leadership

The author shares a prayer to help leaders find their way to where God needs them most.

Jesus lived a life characterized by coming alongside people who needed spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical help. He did not make a point of aligning Himself with reigning power structures, instead He purposely chose to help those who couldn’t help themselves. What motivates your leadership? Are you willing to let God place you where He needs you most?

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45

Prayer: Jesus, I am humbled and grateful when I think of Your heart for us. Thank You that You still choose to come alongside those who are hurting and need help. Search my heart and cleanse me from any motives that do not reflect Your example. Place me where You need me so that I can help others. Give me Your heart for others. In Jesus’ name, amen.
