Mother's Care

Description

In the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, Syrian refugee mother Heven holds 2-month-old Hasan as she looks out the window of their tent to check on her older children.

The health of children and their mothers can’t be separated. That’s why World Vision invests in the critical age — from conception through age 2 — when the right nutrition and health interventions can have life-altering implications on a child’s ability to grow physically and mentally.

Please ask God to bless infants and their mothers:

Great Healer, we know that every child is precious to You. We thank You for the work being done to help so many children and mothers. Let aid distributions reach families who need it the most, and provide the resources to help even more little ones. Heal and strengthen their tiny bodies so they may experience the fullness of life You desire for them.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart…” —Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
