Mistaken Identity

At times, we forget who we are in Christ!

I logged on to look at a friend's Facebook pictures, but couldn't get to her page.

After trying several times, I realized my son hadn't logged out so I was actually logged in as Andrew by mistake. My friend Karen told me the same thing happened to her, and she felt like she had mistaken identity.

We talked about how we do that in life. In fact, the other day, I was with my mom and said something I regretted, and all the sudden I felt like a horrible daughter and I couldn't stop all the critical thoughts. It was like I’d logged into my old negative emotions and forgot who I was, God’s child.

After talking with Karen, I realized when self-doubt and discouragement sets in, maybe it’s time for me to log out of the lies I’m believing and log into my true identity.
