The Lord is waiting for a strong, deep, sincere commitment of love. The kind of commitment that He demonstrated all the way to the cross for you! There was no “halfway” at the cross ... it was an unreserved YES.

When we give our lives to Christ, we should do it entirely. Everything we are at the time ... our failures, our insecurities. We place everything in His hands. We trust Him and agree to give Him our lives, without reservation.

That’s the only way to give your heart to Jesus ... fully.

Saying yes to Jesus means saying no to lots of other things, as the Bible tells us in Colossians 3:8-10: “But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.” 

It’s a victory to say no to these things, to say yes to Jesus! Every day, say no to jealousy, no to slander, no to sin! Say yes to love, yes to truth, yes to Christ! Yes to Your life, Lord!

In Christ, you are a new creation. May your YES to Jesus be 100%. May your YES be YES and your NO be NO.
