Master of All
Acts 17: 26-27
And he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.
We plan and scheme where we want to live, what we want to do, and which path our life will take, never contemplating that God already has it all figured out. God is in control of our lives, whether we realize it or not. God is a loving God, a good God, a God who wants the best for us. But, many times we do not “see” His goodness, because life takes a twist or a turn that we did not see coming or that we did not want to happen. What do we do in these times? Do we blame God for not taking care of us or do we get angry? We have many responses to these times, but what we should do is to trust God- He has it all under control.
We need to put our trust in God, because He is the creator of the universe, the creator of all. Even when life throws us a curve ball, God will work it out in His due time. We just need to trust Him. Trust Him even through the bad times. We need to reach out to Him and allow Him to work in and through our lives. We do not need to trust in our circumstances, wealth or dreams, because they can all fail us. But, God will never fail us. He is for us!
Prayer: Father, Thank You for loving me and orchestrating my life. God, there are times when I question your wisdom...help me push past my fear and fully trust You. Lord, You alone are sovereign. You alone are worthy of trust. Help me to remember how You have been faithful throughout time and You will be faithful until the end of time.
