Many Hands Make Lunch

Description

Women in Uganda learn to cook nutritious meals for their children and families in World Vision classes.

When babies get weak, World Vision has a program that saves their lives. Village Health Team members know about this program and refer moms and children. Moms learn to cook healthy meals with ingredients they can find easily. All the mothers bring ingredients for 12 days straight. They cook together. They feed their children. They weigh them. After 12 days, most children become healthier. And the mothers leave, knowing how to feed them properly with food they don’t have to buy.

Romans 13:10 -  “Love does no harm to a neighbor…”

Love your neighbor today with a pure heart, and bear each other’s burdens.
