Description

South Sudanese refugees in Uganda receive blankets.

Since civil war began in South Sudan in December 2013, more than 720,000 people have fled the country as refugees. Most of them live in camps in Ethiopia, Uganda, Sudan, and Kenya.

About 1.7 million people are displaced within the country, including 187,000 civilians who have sought shelter in U.N. bases. A fragile peace agreement signed in August 2015 has yet to eliminate fighting.

Please pray for the people of South Sudan, especially the children, that they may live in peace.
