Look What I Did!

A young girl shows off a paper from her class at a World Vision early childhood education center for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

Returning to the tent settlement where they live, children who’ve spent a half day in an early education center are bubbling over with songs and games. They proudly show off drawings and penmanship, new skills and knowledge they’ll need to continue their education.

In 2015, less than a quarter of the 400,000 Syrian refugee children in Lebanon were enrolled in formal eduation. As months and years pass, they find it harder and harder to return.
