Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
As the hospital elevator door opened, I saw a man with a little boy of about four who had on a ball cap that must have belonged to his father. The father came on the elevator, but the boy hesitated. His dad said, “Come on son, it's okay; just hold my hand.” The boy smiled and came in confidence and held his father’s hand all the way.
Our Heavenly Father says those words to us throughout Scripture. We can trust Him when things look scary and hard and when we don’t know what to do. We can trust Him in disasters because our confidence is in Him. Is there an area of your life today where you need to trust Him more?
