I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My plan will take place, and I will do all my will. Isaiah 46:10
“What kind of cancer do you have?” she asked my husband. “Lung cancer,” he replied. “Has it metastasized?” she inquired. “Yes, stage 4,” he said. She began her 3 year story of cancer treatment. Bottom line was “stay hopeful no matter what – God has the plan.”
It is a comfort to me today to know God knows the end even at the beginning. I am so grateful He is in charge when life all around us seems out of control. Consider Joseph in the pit and in prison. These situations looked like the end and yet they were a beginning. There is hope; the Master Architect has the plan and we can trust Him.
Are you in pain? Are you suffering? Be reminded today that no matter what’s happening, the God who knew the end at the beginning never leaves us in the middle. How will you live today to say, “I trust you, Lord”?
