Listening to the Father's Heart - October 9
Son, wrong choices result from concluding in your mind that I am not enough to meet your needs. You suppose that I either do not care or I simply cannot provide what you need to fill that place in your heart. Sometimes these conclusions are made at a subconscious level, but the result is the same. Some of my children meet their needs with the pleasures of this world. Some medicate their pain. And others allow intimacy imposters to fill their heart. My Son was given to provide every, yes every need you have in life. That includes emotional and physical needs. I know that seems hard to believe when you are lonely and dealing with needs that you feel I am not meeting. I want to encourage you to share your struggles with me and my Son. Wait on me and see what happens. You will find the unexpected when you cast all your cares upon me and my Son.
Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD—Psalm 27:14.
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you—1 Peter 5:6-7.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus—Philippians 4:19.
