Listening to the Father's Heart - October 29
Son, it would be easy to conclude that I have left you during times of great trial when you see no tangible evidence of my presence. That would be a very wrong assumption. There is absolutely no circumstance in which I am not present. Call upon me and I will answer (Jer 33:3). I may not answer in the time or way that you feel I should, but I am always there. Sometimes my aloofness is designed to draw you in closer to me. My Spirit does deep work in times of great trial. The deeper you go into my well, the richer your experience with me will be. Ultimately, I want you to experience my glory in the midst of your pain, for that will sustain you through any trial. My son Paul had an understanding of this when he said, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Cor 3:18). Son, as you touch my glory you will be changed into my likeness. That is my desire for you and all my sons and daughters.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord—Romans 8:37-39.
