Many of my sons and daughters are not aware of the spiritual forces working behind the scenes to disrupt my plans for them. Son, you live in a war zone, not Disneyland. There are forces you cannot see that seek to destroy your life and your destiny. Be confident that I have put a shield of protection about you (Ps 18:2). You may still lose some battles, but the war has already been decided. We win! However, you must engage that shield through times of major assault. The enemy goes to and fro seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet 5:8). I give you authority over his schemes through prayer, but it does little good if you don't use the weapons of my word. A gun is made to be fired. Prayer exists to defeat the enemy's work. Stand firm my son.
