Listening to the Father's Heart - July 3

Description

Son, make sure there are no open doors of iniquity in your life. I want to bless you with every good thing, but I cannot if you hold on to any sin.

Son, some of my sons and daughters live in defeat because there are still open doors of iniquity in their lives. An open door gives Satan a legal right to enter and cause havoc.   My son Joshua learned this painfully when he led the Israelites into battle against the city of Ai and did not have the expected victory. Sin in the camp allowed Satan to thwart their plans. "Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you" (Josh 7:11-12).  Son, make sure there are no open doors of iniquity in your life. I want to bless you with every good thing, but I cannot if you hold onto any sin in your life. Satan is a legalist. He knows when he is entitled to attack my children. I want there to be no open doors that he could gain access through. My Son never had any open doors of iniquity because He was sinless.

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30
