Listening to the Father's Heart - July 17

Son, today I want to teach you about sowing and reaping. You have read in my Word that whatever you sow, you shall surely reap. So plant according to your need, son.  Your return is always in proportion to what you plant. "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully" (2 Cor 9:6). Because of sin, weeds spring up in the earth unhindered; they need no cultivation.  But good seed does (Gen 3:18). Seasons of tending are needed for your seed to mature, so you must trust me for the time of your harvest. "And He said, 'The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come'"(Mark 4:26-29).  Be ready. The harvest is sure. I have watched you sow your tears many nights.  Know this, my dear son - “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy" (Ps 126:5).

Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12
