Listening to the Father’s Heart – January 21

Description

Son, sometimes life is lived beneath the storm clouds. Even though you cannot see the sun in the dark and overcast skies, you know it is shining above the clouds.

Son, sometimes life is lived beneath the storm clouds. Even though you cannot see the sun during the dark, overcast skies, you know it is shining above those clouds. The fact that you cannot see the sun does not change the fact that it exists and it is shining. You are benefiting from its effects even though you cannot fully appreciate it. However, once you fly above the clouds and see the burst of sunlight come through, you begin to feel its warmth. You feel a peace and calm come over you. This is a picture of my relationship with you. You know I am always there with you, but there are times when you can feel my presence more, times when you experience my joy, even in the midst of circumstances that want to bring you sadness. Being confident of my presence will create a joy in you that others will be attracted to, even when circumstances may not be easy.

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:6-8
