Listening to the Father’s Heart – January 16

Description

Yes, son, your response to me does make a difference in outcomes, but know that I am the reason you are the person you are today.

Son, before you were born I knew you (Jer. 1:5). I knew when you would be born. I knew where you would live (Ps 16:5-6; Acts 17:26). I knew the parents you would have. I knew when you would turn your heart to me. I knew all of your works from the moment you were born to the day you would return to me (Eph 2:10). I also took responsibility to fulfill what I want to accomplish in and through your life (2 Thess 5:24). Yes, your response to me does make a difference in outcomes, but know that I am the reason you are the person you are today. We are inseparable. We do need each other to accomplish what I want on the earth. If you had not responded to me, I would have had to use another. But I am glad you allowed me to use you.

My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me. Psalms 31:15
