Listening to the Father's Heart - February 22

Son, as you are faithful to the small things, I am always faithful to honor your obedience.

Son, do you remember the time I sent you to Barbados to speak to that very small group of followers? You questioned whether you should take three days of your time to do this because you thought you would not be compensated adequately for your time. You were right. You were not paid what your value was for that particular assignment at the time. However, you met someone on that trip that has now become one of your greatest advocates and you received a large check eight months later from someone you ministered to on my behalf. This is how my kingdom works. My economy is different. As you are faithful to the small things, I am always faithful to honor your obedience. I am your Father. I love to give things to my children. However, I do require you to be faithful to the small things first (Zech  4:10).

I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant. Joshua 24:13
