Son, there are two kinds of death playing out every day on planet earth. Satan has his plan to kill your future and your destiny (Jn 10:10). And I have a plan to kill your flesh, which seeks to keep you from your destiny. My Son told a parable about this when he was on earth: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain"(Jn 12:24).  Dying to old ways, old thinking and destructive patterns can be difficult. However, as you yield your life to my purposes, I will use you in my kingdom. This is how death becomes abundant  life. This is your path to real purpose and meaning. This death allows my Son to live through you, giving life to all you come in contact.

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6 

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4
