Listening to the Father's Heart - April 2

Description

Some of my sons and daughters refuse to accept my love because of the arrows that remain lodged in their hearts.

Son, you are feeling my heart. The situation you are experiencing is what I experience continually. The internal wounds a person may carry can blind their ability to see the true nature of my love for them, no matter how hard I try to express it.  It can be frustrating. Some of my sons and daughters refuse to accept my love because of the arrows that remain lodged in their hearts.  It is only when these arrows are removed that they can view me and life's situations through a lens that is not clouded. Broken hearts do have to be healed before love can break through. Wounded people wound people. This sometimes means forgiveness is needed toward the offender and toward ourselves. Let me heal those places in your heart that still need my touch.

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalms 34:18

For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole. Job 5:18
