Listening to the Father's Heart - April 1

Son, your understanding of my nature will determine how you view my actions.

Son, your understanding of my nature will determine how you view my actions. Many of my sons and daughters who have not come to know me personally have concluded things about me that simply are not true. When I fail to prevent certain types of evil on the earth, I am accused of being a God who does not care. Please help my sons and daughters know that I weep over a child that is hurt or wrongfully treated. I care deeply when you and others go through difficult times. It is true that I am not a genie in a bottle who responds to every situation. There are two reasons for this.  There is man's free will and there is Satan's interference. Both of these can affect situations on planet earth. However, I want you to be clear about my nature, son. When you are, you will be able to help others understand the kind of love and heartfelt devotion that I have toward you and them.

The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.  Psalms 145:17-19
