Listen and Obey What God Is Speaking to You

Description

God speaks to everyone in every walk of life who has a personal relationship with Him. Listen for His voice and follow His instructions.

Deuteronomy 5:29

God doesn’t just speak to leaders in ministry. He speaks to everyone in every walk of life who has a personal relationship with Him. A lot of people don’t expect to hear from God at all, but in reality, He speaks to all of us. He is speaking to you.

Of course, you can’t hear Him and do what He says unless you’re listening for His voice. You listen by reading your Bible, taking time to be still in His presence, and preparing your heart to receive from Him on a regular basis. That way you can follow His instructions and keep His commandments.

Read Deuteronomy 5:29. Can you hear the earnestness in God’s voice as He makes that statement? He wants us to keep His commandments so that it might go well with us. He cares about our well-being and knows that the only way He can take care of us is if we’re willing to listen and be obedient.

Make your relationship with Jesus Christ your lifestyle and faithfully be a doer of the Word. Hear His wisdom and follow it today.

Prayer Starter: Lord, I believe You are speaking to me, and I want to know Your voice. I will purposefully listen to and live out what You tell me to do so that “it might go well” with me.
