Most people would like to leave their mark on the world. Know that every day God gives us chances to do so!

If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness… (Isaiah 58:10).

THINK

• Leaving Your Mark: Most people would like to leave their mark on the world. Some spend years trying to, while others give up without doing anything because they think it’s too difficult. The truth is that every day God gives us chances to leave our mark.
• Opportunities: Sometimes the opportunities we have to make a difference are small; other times they are significant. The real question is whether we take advantage of those opportunities or not.

PRAY
Pray for the ability to see the opportunities to help others around you. Ask God to help you have the courage to stand up and do what is right.

ACT
Do something nice for someone today, whether it is buying a stranger a cup of coffee or stopping to help someone change a flat tire. If they thank you, use that opportunity to tell them why you did it.
