Lift a Glass

Darian Alexander, a 7 year old in Honduras, holds up a glass of clean water. Darian is a World Vision sponsored child.

Why is water important? Darian says: "So we can drink it!"

Children in Yamaranguila community are happy to have clean water from a World Vision water tank.

Robin, age 8, says water is important, too, “Because my mom needs to wash my clothes!”

Christian, age 6, says, “It’s important to wash your hands after you go to the bathroom and before you eat.”

Why is water important to Jarik, age 9?  “So I can take a shower,” he says.
