Letting Go of Perfect

Christmas doesn’t have to be perfect to be memorable!

Christmas doesn’t have to be perfect to be memorable!
Things may go absolutely wrong this Christmas but sometimes the imperfect moments make the best memories… You know, the ones you talk about for years?
My friend LeAnn was telling me a Christmas she remembers from her childhood is the “exploding lasagna” Christmas. He grandmother spent hours making her special lasagna but she wasn’t used to an electric stove, hers was gas, so she didn’t notice a burner was still on when she pulled the lasagna out of the oven and put it on top of the stove.
The whole family heard the explosion when the glass dish burst as it sat on the hot burner. Lasagna was everywhere! On the counter, the floor, the cabinets and even the ceiling. LeAnn doesn’t remember what she got for Christmas that year or what they ended up eating but the exploding lasagna has provided years of laughter!
