Learning in School

Teacher attention and colorful workbooks help youngsters learn their A,B,Cs, in this school in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In the last decade, school enrollment has increased immensely in the developing world, yet student achievement has not kept pace. Globally, 250 million children are not learning basic literacy and numeracy skills.

World Vision is helping parents, teachers, and community leaders to create an environment where children’s learning is reinforced at school, home, and throughout community life.
