Learning From My Mistakes

00:00

Description

Have you truly done your best? If not, maybe it's time you learn from your mistakes.

I did it again! I let someone down and I felt terrible about it.

I’d been trying to balance one unexpected family crisis after another. I knew I’d done all I could but it wasn’t enough. I’d let some important details fall through the cracks which meant I’d disappointed a co-worker. So I apologize and explain what’d happened, asked for forgiveness, and she gave it to me.

But I knew I had to do more. It was time for a change!  So I sat down and wrote out all of my commitments and figured at what I needed to delegate and what I needed to bow out of since we were dealing with so many unexpected circumstances.

God taught me during that time that if I’ve done my best, that's all all I have to offer. But if I haven't done my best, maybe it’s time to tweak my calendar, give myself a little grace and learn from my mistakes.
