Leading Under the Influence

Description

Only as Jesus has first place in your heart and lives through you will others assume their proper place in your life.

Whose leadership do you lead under? Do you lead under the influence of those you seek to please and those you fear? Or do you lead under the influence of those you are committed to serve and those you love? Out of those you are committed to love and serve, does Jesus have first place? Only as Jesus has first place in your heart and lives through you will others assume their proper place in your life.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.—Galatians 2:20

Prayer: Jesus, I want You to live in me so that I am free to live for You. I know this servant life can only be lived by the power of Your Spirit. Help me to keep focused on my relationship with You so that my relationships with others honor You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
