Laugh Today

Description

Everyone enjoys being around someone who wears a smile. Laughter is good for the soul.

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. - Proverbs 15:13

Some researchers say that a positive attitude can actually help you to live longer! Isn't that amazing? Did you know that laughter can do the same thing?

Find something to laugh about today.

Abraham's wife, Sarah, laughed when she discovered she was pregnant at an old age after longing for a baby for so many years. God surprised her when she had given up! Perhaps God has granted you an unexpected blessing. If so, laugh with joy today!

If you have trouble with this, read the comics in the newspaper. Watch a humorous YouTube video of a dog or cat. Rent a movie that has some good, clean comedy. Read a few entries in a joke book. Do whatever it takes to find some humor is this day.

Often, the greatest laughs come when we are free enough to laugh at ourselves.

Have you done something really silly lately? Have you made a mistake that left you chuckling?

Laughter is good for the soul.

The book of Proverbs says that if your heart is happy, your face will show it. Are you going around with a long face? Do people look forward to seeing you or are you a "Debbie Downer"?

If you find yourself complaining today, try replacing negative words with cheerful ones.

Everyone enjoys being around someone who wears a smile.

LET'S PRAY:

Father, grant me a happy heart today. Where there is depression or bitterness within me, replace the negativity with joy! Thank You, Father. Amen.
