Keep It Clean

Description

Life has changed for these children in the Democratic Republic of Congo since families began paying more attention to hygiene, including building and using latrines.

Léontine’s family was able to build a new latrine by her home thanks to the help from World Vision and its church partners.

"One day, our latrine broke down due to heavy rain, because it wasn’t in good condition," Léontine says. She and her children used their neighbor's latrine, but every time they went, they were embarrassed for people to see that they didn’t have their own.

About 1 in 3 people in the world don’t have access to improved sanitation, causing many preventable diseases and health problems.

Join us in praying for children and families who need clean, fresh, plentiful water and toilets. Sign up to walk or run a 6K on May 6 to bring water and health to more of them.
