John 16

Description

A tour of John 16 with Ken Boa.

Knowing that the time of His suffering and death is at hand, Jesus equips His disciples so that they will have perspective and power in their ministries after He returns to the Father. He tells them more about the Holy Spirit who will come to them, guide them into all the truth, and convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. The Lord also prepares them for the suffering they will experience because of their testimony about Him. Though they will experience grief after His departure, their grief will turn into joy when they see Him again.

The disciples finally get a clear picture of what Jesus has been trying to teach them all along, and they declare that He came from God and knows all things.
