Jesus Is the Door

Jesus is the door; He is our access to eternal life.

Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, "Sir, open the door for us." But he will answer, "I don’t know you or where you come from." Luke 13:25

Jesus is the door; He is our access to eternal life. But as you just read, that door will not always be open.

This is a very scary, very ominous Scripture. It reminds us that there will be a time that we won’t be able to make the decision to follow Christ. The good news, though, is that you can make it…right now.

Don’t believe Satan’s lie that you’ll always have another chance. Instead, make the most of the opportunities God has given you today to walk through the door and to show others the truth of who Christ is.

As you begin your day, ask God to help you make the most of the opportunities He gives you today so that you can experience right now the abundant life that He has for you.

If you have been waiting to open the door of your life to Christ, do it now. You can pray to accept him right where you are, right now.

If you've been putting off showing others the reality of the door, stop delaying. Find someone today and tell them about the great things that await them on the other side of a relationship with Christ.
