Jesus Is Our Shepherd

Description

The same sense of security and satisfaction that Jesus showed David is available to each of us.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all I need.” Psalm 23:1

THINK

A good shepherd knows his sheep. He offers them a place of safety, protects them from the dangers they face and ensures they are fed. In Psalm 23 David makes it clear that Jesus is the good shepherd and, as a result, all of David’s needs are met.
That same sense of security and satisfaction is available to each of us. Jesus is our shepherd. When we respond to His voice, we will discover that every need we have is met. When we obediently follow Him, we begin to understand the promise that we will find pasture each and every day.

PRAY

If you constantly feel that something is missing in your life or wonder what it takes to be satisfied, recognize the reality that Jesus is the good shepherd, and pray to accept Jesus as your Lord.
