It's Not All About Us
"God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
Technology has some amazing potential in our lives. It connects us with people we've lost touch with, helps our lives run smoother, and gives us the ability to accomplish things we never could have without it. However, it's also got some dangerous pitfalls. In the world of technology, things can easily become all about ourselves, and pride can take over quickly.
When life becomes all about "me," we begin to miss out on what life is truly about. God wants us to understand that there's more to life than our agenda. So as you utilize technology, make sure that you aren't just making it all about yourself. Use it instead as the tool to point others to God and all He is doing in your life.
Thank God for technology and the ways in which it helps your life. Ask Him to help you maintain the right focus when using technology so that it doesn't become all about you.
