It Ain't Gonna Last Forever

Description

The pain and suffering you are experiencing today isn't going to last forever. Praise God!

We are aliens and strangers in your sight, as were all our forefathers. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. 1 Chronicles 29:15 NIV

This pain and suffering you are experiencing isn't going to last forever! Praise God.

Has life been rough lately? Have you experienced stress and heartache? Are the troubles of the world depressing you? Have people disappointed you? Well hold on dear struggling Christian; your redemption draweth near!

Whenever life gets the best of you, and you feel you can’t continue, you and I need to remember the temporal state in which we live. This earth is not our home. Compared to eternity, the Bible says our days here “are like a shadow, without hope”. I think what that says to us is that we have something great to look forward to, and we can put up with what we have to endure here. Don’t expect this world to get much better. It can’t. It is a fallen world, corrupted by sin. But, those who know Christ, have a future which is far more glorious than anything we have ever known here on earth.

You and I aren’t going to be here long. We are going to a better place. We are going to our glorious home. We have a citizenship in a permanent place called Heaven, whose architect and builder is our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t let this world get you down! Trust in the One who will come to take you Home!
