Invest in the Local Church

If you are not committed to investing in the local church, do so today.

‘When I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of broken pieces did you pick up?’ And they said to Him, ‘Seven’ (Mark 8:20).

In hard times, we tend to hold tightly to our resources. But throughout the Bible we can read stories of those who walked with God and were blessed for their faith in His plan—even in the hard times. A measly seven bread rolls and a few fish were used by Jesus to enable Him to continue to preach the Gospel to the crowd of Jews and Gentiles—extending the reach of His message beyond boundaries. Yet even after everyone was fed there were seven huge baskets left over for later.

Remember, God blesses our faithfulness even today. The hard times are the best times to give, because it’s during those times that we realize the amazing ability of our awesome God to continue blessing us so that we can be a blessing!

Pray that God will bless your commitment and investment in the local church.
