In the Trial, Yes ... but with Jesus!
Description
Experiencing intimacy and growth in the Lord also means opening ourselves more to Him. So that we can share our joys and victories with Him as well as our battles and disappointments. As we do so, we’re encouraged and comforted again by His Word, His love, and His wisdom.
James 1:2-4 says, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
What trial are you facing?
- Are you going through the valley of the shadow of death?
- Do you want to give up?
- Do you feel incapable?
- Are you facing great loss or sorrow?
- Are you afraid?
There’s only one thing to do in these sorts of situations: keep your eyes fixed on Him! You probably know this already, but it’s worth repeating because it’s the truth ... a powerful truth that comforts and frees us.
Yes, God knows where He wants to send you. In the storms scattered along your path, not only is He holding your hand, but He’s also accomplishing His plans. He’s strengthening your faith. And that is a priceless treasure.
Don’t doubt ... stand firm! Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, strengthening yourself in Him. Don’t let go of your faith ... let go of your doubt!
Be blessed and encouraged today!
