Impossible

Description

Ask God to meet you where you are and to give you what you need to accomplish the impossible.

Luke 1: 27

For nothing is impossible with God.

Nothing is impossible with God, not even when it comes to our children. So many times I am involved in an “impossible” situation with one of my children.  These impossible situations include potty training, sleeping through the night, breaking my child of the habit of lying, teaching my child how to develop a loving spirit, talking to my teenager in a calm voice, and setting up boundaries. While these situations seem impossible to me, it is comforting to know that nothing is impossible with God.

God sees the way, knows the way and wants to walk me through it each step. The key here is that I need to have faith in God and believe that He is the God of the impossible. What is the impossible situation you are faced with today?  Ask God to meet you where you are and to give you what you need to accomplish the impossible.

Prayer:

Father, Thank you that you are the God of the impossible.  My prayer is that I will keep my eyes on you and not on the impossible situation at hand.  God, teach me how to have faith in you that moves mountains.
